November 11, 2014 ~ Today, like most Americans, I am thankful for our veterans. I am thankful for each man and women who put their life on hold to put on a uniform to serve their country. I am thankful for those who fought to win our freedom, and thankful for those who fight to keep it.
After 9/11, I think we have all learned that life as we know it can be forever changed in the blink of an eye. I am eternally grateful to the men and women in the military ~ those who have served and those currently serving. Thank you for protecting my freedom … thank you for being willing to lay down your life, so that I may go to sleep each night knowing you are protecting my right to live in “the land of the free and the home of the brave”. I am truly blessed.
November 27 ~ Today I am thankful for my children. I have been blessed with 2 wonderful, healthy, fun-loving kids.
When I was growing up, many of my friends wanted to be a nurse, a secretary, or a teacher. Not me, I always wanted to be a mom. Not just a regular mom, I wanted to be a fun mom … I wanted to have the house (with the white picket fence, of course) where all the kids in the neighborhood wanted to hang out.
